Bio Pretto | Nypremiär av Man ? Nature

Even sustainable development is the white man's dream - everything has a price.

In 2008, for the first time in world history, more than 50 percent - 3.3 billion - of all humans were living in cities. And remember: water is life.

This short film from Pretto film is compiled from two other short films; Urban People and Water, filmed in the central areas of Stockholm. In this compilation I have made a framework with three blocks of text and two soundscapes. One of the main questions the film raises is: Is it possible to separate Nature from Man at this point in the history of evolution? Nature - from the dawn of Man, under the influence.

This film was my contribution to The Verner Herzog Competition on Shooting People in August 2009.
